The Illinois Spina Bifida Association (ISBA) invites all children and families living with spina bifida to a "Play Date" event at the Childrens Discovery Museum, 101 E Beaufort St, Normal, on June 16, 2018, from 2-4 PM.
Admission is free for registered attendees, and includes child care and refreshments. Parents will have an opportunity to network with other parents.
ISBA social worker Katie Jones will also share information about the Illinois ABLE program, which helps people with disabilities to save money while preserving their Medicaid and SSI.
This event is made possible in part by a grant from the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation for the ISBA Community-Clinic Connection program, which promotes family resilience and access to resources through outreach and case management services in home and community settings.
